How to

How to make a flying car video with your own car

Four steps, one photo (two for the person formats), six seconds. No editing software, no template to hunt down, nothing to install. This page is the whole process, including the parts that go wrong.

The process

Four steps, start to file

Step 1

Take one photo of the whole car (and one of you if the format needs it)

Side on or three-quarter view, daylight, car parked, nothing in front of the wheels. Phone camera is fine. No screenshots from Google, no photos of a photo, no showroom glossy render: the model needs real light on real paint to decide where the wheels sit. For the formats with a person in them, the second photo is you: face clear, looking at the camera, daylight, no sunglasses and no group shot.

Step 2

Pick the stunt

Seven stunts ship today: Day 1, They can't stop me, Unbothered, Over traffic, Ramp flip, Cabin panic and Flip fail. Pick one from the samples on the home page: each one is a clip that was already shot, with a car-shaped hole in it where your car goes. Three of them open on a person rather than a road — Day 1, Unbothered, Cabin panic — so those ask for a second photo, your face, and Cabin panic goes further: it keeps the car from the clip and takes the face only. Your photos just have to match the light and the angle.

Step 3

Pay once, then it renders

One video is $4.99. Three is $12.90, eight is $24.90. Nothing renews, and a pack is not a subscription: you sign up, buy once, and there is nothing to cancel. Card and wallet payments go through the usual checkout.

Step 4

Download the six seconds

The file is vertical 9:16, 720p, six seconds, with engine sound already in it, no watermark. It lands on the page you started from. Post it, send it, or send it to the group chat and watch someone ask if it is real.

The photo

What makes a photo work

This is where nearly every bad render starts. Fix the photo and the rest is easy.

Do this

  • Whole car in frame, all four wheels visible
  • Side on or three-quarter view
  • Even daylight, no hard backlight
  • Parked, engine off, nothing moving
  • Clean paint helps, dirt does not hurt

Not this

  • Screenshots from a dealer site
  • Photos of a screen or a printout
  • Heavy night-time noise or motion blur
  • Cars half out of frame or behind a fence
  • Anything with a person standing in front
What you get

The file, in full

6 seconds9:16 vertical720p MP4Engine sound includedNo watermarkPlates unreadableOne-time payment

Six seconds is deliberate. It is long enough for the joke and short enough that a stranger watches it twice. Vertical because that is where these clips live. Sound because a silent flying car looks like a screensaver.

The price is the honest part: $4.99 for one, and it does not turn into a subscription when you are not looking. The comments under every one of these videos say "you have to pay though", so it is on the first screen, not buried in a footer.

Before you pay

Where it falls short

Read this once and there are no surprises later.

One car per video

The tool puts your car in the stunt. Two cars in the photo means it picks one and gets confused about the rest. Crop to the car you want.

It is not a camera

Everything here is generated. There is no real footage of your car flying, and the site says so on every page. Do not publish it as real.

Stickers, wraps and text may smudge

Long decals, phone numbers on doors and small logos often lose detail on the way through. If the text matters to you, it probably will not survive.

Weather is fake too

The stunt clips were shot in daylight with dry tarmac. If your photo is a rainy night, the car will look pasted into sunshine. Match conditions and it reads better.

FAQ

Making one: questions

Photo rules, rendering, refunds.

What kind of photo works best?

A daylight photo of the whole car, taken from the side or three-quarter front, with all four wheels in frame and the car parked. Phone photos are fine. Avoid screenshots, photos of screens, night shots and anything with motion blur.

Do I need a Tesla?

No. Any car works: hatchback, pickup, van, project car. The stunt is built around a generic car shape, so the badge does not matter and neither does the model year.

Will it look exactly like my car?

The shape, colour and stance come from your photo. Fine details like badges, stickers and wheel design rarely survive intact. It reads as your car at a glance, which is what a six-second clip needs.

Will my plate be readable?

The model is instructed to leave the plate unreadable and it comes out smeared in practice. If the plate is enormous in your photo, check the clip before posting.

What if the video comes out wrong?

If the car is mangled or the stunt does not happen, tell us within seven days and we refund it or re-render it. A render that looks odd because the photo was blurry is not a bug, but we will still look at it.

Can I use the video commercially?

Yes, post it wherever you like. Do not present it as real footage of a real event, and do not use it as evidence in any dispute. That is the one line.

How long until I can download it?

A few minutes at normal load. When the queue is busy it can take longer, and the page keeps the video there when it is done.
